  4. I will miss eating al fresco the most :) And, Liz, you forgot vine ripened tomatoes from the garden. Nothing like fresh tomatoes with basil and mozzarella cheese! But, yes, lots to look forward to!! :)

  7. Ha! I think that the chocolate cake pretty much sums it up! Although, presently I am just tasting notes of chocolate in my lovely red wine...by the fire:)

  9. What a beautiful yet melancholy thing the arrival of fall is....it always stirs up conflicting emotions in me, the smells sights and sounds (leaves crunching, campfires, pumpkin scented candles, lol)bring out my "poetic" side.....it is always a bittersweet arrival; as lovely and cozy as it is, there is something about it that makes one....shall I say, long for the carefree days of their youth?
    Love your post!

  12. Love your upbeat post, as I am one who holds on to summer with her fingernails. The boots, scarf, and fire are so English, and I LoVE that!
